🔊 Listen to Post In this, the second course in spiritual counseling on WitchUniversity.net we will focus on filling your mind with the necessary knowledge to practice competently. This may not be necessary for you if your focus is going to be limited to divination or a specific alternative medicine treatment. It will be crucial however, if you will be serving a community with a variety of needs or if you will be a sort of pastoral counselor. You may not need the official credentials that a conventional therapist or clinical psychologist would need, but you need to have a good foundation of knowledge in basic psychology, culturally aware anthropology, and world religions. Where they need to focus on a specific field of study, because you are dealing with the soul, you need to have range.

As I said, because this class is taught in English, and we’re dealing mostly with the English speaking world here, you may have some “white” supremacy, imperialism, and capitalism issues to unpack along the way. Just to warn you, if you haven’t already done this inner work, this course will trigger you to do so.

This is not because it is “preachy” or PC. I was just raised in a flawed but deeply spiritual family. So I am kind of privileged in that way, and tend to run roughshod over people’s illusions in a blunt manner. American “race” theory is just one of those things I take for granted that a spiritual person doesn’t believe in. Same with euro centric gender delineation, old or new.

For this reason, donations for this course are on a monthly basis. Some will finish it quickly and some slowly. Take as much time as you need. There is no rush here.

There will be an assignment for each lesson, and an exam at various milestones during the course. Once you have completed the course, you will receive both an online and paper certificate. You will also be entitled to a free blog on which you can do some of the working assignments for the advanced course.
